AIDAN MCLAUGHLIN REMAINS on top of the Donegal Sport Hub Fantasy Premier League, in association with Champions Travel.

McLaughlin, whose team is called ‘Cleverson’ had another steady week with 72 points in the bag, thanks to his decision to captain Romelu Lukaku and a solid eight points from Etienne Capoue (pictured above) of Watford, helping his team to a 3-1 win over Manchester United.

Overall, McLaughlin has 333 points, which is 13 better than second-placed ‘Elland Road’ – managed by Damien Duffy.

His decision to hand the armband to Alexis Sánchez yielded 20 points as captain, to amass a weekly total of 68.

Jacintha Diver’s ‘d-Special-1-Zlatan’ contained both Lukaku and Sánchez and with Raheem Sterling of Manchester City and Arsenal’s Theo Walcott both chipping in with 13 points, it made her haul 79 points. Overall, her total after Gameweek 5 is 314.

There’s a tie then for fourth place on 312 points, with Anton Sheridan’s ‘Bazinga bus’ and Barry Mailey’s ‘Slumdogg mignolet’ sharing that spot.
