RACHAEL DARRAGH had a magnificent weekend at the Yonex Leinster Autumn Open, winning three titles.

The 18-year-old Raphoe woman – she turns 19 next weekend – a niece of three-time Olympic badminton player Chloe Magee, continues her rapid rise up the Irish badminton ladder with wins in the women’s singles, the women’s doubles and the mixed doubles.

She combined with her uncle Josh Magee to win the mixed doubles final against Ciaran Chambers and Sinead Chambers of Alpha BC. Magee and Darragh won 22-20, 18-21, 21-16.

Darragh ended a wonderful tournament for her as she won the women’s singles.

She was up against her doubles partner Boyle in this one and Darragh won in three games, 21-9, 14-21, 21-14.
