DALE GORMAN WAS part of the Northern Ireland side who lost their opening Uefa 2017 Under-21 fixture against Iceland last night.
The side managed by Jim Magilton went down 1-0 to a goal three minutes from time, scored by Heidar Aegisson at Mourneview Park in Lurgan.
[adrotate group=”38″]The Stevenage midfielder, who is from Letterkenny went close to opening the scoring after the hour-mark, only to see his shot saved by Iceland goalkeeper Thorri Runarsson.
France, Ukraine, Scotland and Macedonia, who Northern Ireland face next at 12 noon on Tuesday in Skopje, are also in the group.
