DANNY MOONEY WAS the winner of the John Gilmartin 5k yesterday evening.
Mooney, who is from Letterkenny Athletic Club, finished the race in 16 minutes and 26 seconds, to take an eight-second victory over Ciaran McGonagle of Rosses Athletic Club.

Fionnuala Diver of Letterkenny Athletic Club continued her excellent form of late to take victory in the women’s event, with 17:58.
