THE COMPETITIONS CONTROL COMMITTEE will meet to discuss this evening’s postponed AllSportStore.com All-County Football League Division 1 clash between St Michael’s and Ardara.
The Bridge in Dunfanaghy was to play host to the backlogged fixture this evening but although home team St Michael’s and referee Martin Coll from Gaoth Dobhair were present, Ardara did not make the journey as they stated they were unable to fulfil the fixture in the middle of the week.
[adrotate group=”38″]St Michael’s are expected to be awarded the two points, with the CCC set to discuss the matter at its next meeting.
“It was a backlogged match,” said Declan Martin, secretary of the CCC. “All weekends will be taken up with other games from now on. We at the CCC will meet to discuss the issue.”
