Donegal have named their team for Cork qualifer

DONEGAL MANAGER Rory Gallagher has named his team for tomorrow’s All-Ireland Round 4B qualifier against Cork at Croke Park.

The team selected by the manager is the same as that which he named for the Ulster SFC final against Tyrone a fortnight ago, but means that it shows one change from the side that actually began that game.

Eamon McGee started against Tyrone, but has been left off the starting XV for tomorrow’s clash with Cork.

Whether or not this is the team that will take to the field at 4pm remains to be seen, however.

Neil Gallagher could be in line for a return to Donegal’s matchday squad tomorrow with the Glenswilly man having resumed full-contact training again.

“Neil has been unfortunate enough that things have been building up with him,” Rory Gallagher said.

“It’s been kind of one thing after the other and he just hasn’t got a run of maybe three weeks of training together.”

DONGEGAL (All-Ireland Round 4B qualifier v Cork): Mark Anthony McGinley; Paddy McGrath, Neil McGee, Kieran Gillespie; Ryan McHugh, Karl Lacey, Frank McGlynn; Rory Kavanagh, Martin McElhinney; Anthony Thompson, Odhrán Mac Niallais, Eoin McHugh; Patrick McBrearty, Michael Murphy, Martin O’Reilly.
