Convincing Dungloe steamroll Termon at Rosses Park

Dungloe ran out convincing winners of this Division 1 clash with Termon in Rosses Park last night.  Dungloe 3-13 Termon 0-6

The home side went four points up after ten minutes with points from Ryan Greene (2), Noel McBrdie and Adrian Sweeney before Steven McElwaine pointed for the visitors on 13 minutes.

Ryan Greene pointed from a free on 16 mins and the home side had to watch Adam Neely’s two goal chances saved by Noel O’Donnell in the Termon net.

Darren Curran and Daire McDaid traded points as the first half entered the final five minutes.

Dungloe finishing the half with a point from McBride.

Termon’s Dan Conaghan was black carded in injury time of the first half to leave the half time score Dungloe 0-7 Termon 0-2.

The visitors started the second half with gusto and their goal chance was saved by keeper Danny Rodgers. It was seven minutes in before a score was registered in the second half with Termon’s Daire McDaid striking a fine free to keep his side in touch.

An Adrian Sweeney free hit the post and Adam Neely was on hand to fire to the back of the net to stretch the home side’s lead further.

Hugh Moy and Ryan Greene added further points for Dungloe and another Daire McDaid free on 13 minutes left 8 between the sides.

Adrian Sweeney and Adam Sweeney traded points at either end of the field before Sweeney struck another point and Ryan Greene found the net for the home side as the game entered the final ten minutes.

Another Ryan Greene free and a goal from substitute James McCole and a point by substitute Barry Curran left the home side well in control with Caolan McDaid converting a free for Termon seconds before the final whistle.
