Hourihane got 30 per cent of the votes, some 264, while Niall O’Donnell – who scored 2-5 for Donegal minors in their Ulster MFC quarter-final win over Antrim – was second. Third place went to Jamie Grant following his fine performance in the Under-14 All-County Division 1 against Gaoth Dobhair in Dunfanaghy.

IN A relegation four-pointer at Gaelic Park, there was little between Bundoran and Glenswilly. But Tommy Hourihane proved to be the match-winner for Bundoran.
It was a moment of quality that won the day for Bundoran and it was provided by Hourihane, who delicately lobbed over Glenswilly goalkeeper, Philip O’Donnell, in added time.
