Ruaidhri McGee is just one off the lead before the final round at Swiss Challenge

ROSAPENNA GOLF CLUB’S Ruaidhri McGee is currently one shot off the lead at the Swiss Challenge presented by Association Suisse de Golf on the European Challenge Tour.

McGee shot a 69 today for two under in his third round – after a 70 on Thursday and a 66 in his second round – and is joined at eight under par by Damien Perrier, who won his maiden Challenge Tour title in the Czech Republic last week.

England’s Paul Howard currently leads the way alongside Germany’s Alexander Knappe on nine under par at Golf Sempachersee.

Twenty-five-year-old McGee is born in Derry but living between Belfast Carrigart and the club professional at Rosapenna.

McGee tees off tomorrow morning at 10:30am in the second last three-ball.
