RED HUGH’S MIGHT be top of the AllSportStore.com All-County Football League Division 4 but they were hammered at Na Rossa last night.

Na Rossa 5-13 Red Hugh’s 0-8

An excellent haul of 3-2 from Conor McCahill laid the foundations for the side managed by Barry Doherty at Dooey.

It was the away side who were three points up initially with Damien Browne finding his range but two goals late in the first half from McCahill gave the home side a 2-3 to 0-6 interval lead.

Na Rossa were completely dominant in the second half. Eugene Molloy, John Paul McCready, Christian Bonner and substitute Adam McHugh all scored to stretch their lead out to 2-8 to 0-6.

Adam McHugh scored a third Na Rossa goal and his side were relentless with a fourth goal coming from McCahill before Aaron Boyle made it five. Substitute Gerard Breslin came off the bench with two minutes to go and managed to kick three points from play as Na Rossa move up to fourth.
