THIS SATURDAY, May 14th, the Letterkenny Rugby Club’s first team will take on the challenge of pushing a Toyota Yaris from Kelly’s Toyota Showroom in Mountcharles to the Letterkenny Rugby Club House at Dave Gallaher Park.

The push is to raise funds for the Jack & Jill Foundation and is being organised by Terence Gallagher, Captain of the firsts.

“We are absolutely delighted that this year again, our main sponsor Kelly’s Toyota, have provided us with this opportunity to take part in a fun event & along the way raise money for this years nominated charity, The Jack & Jill foundation,” Gallagher said.

“They do fantastic work at the Jack & Jill foundation and for us at Letterkenny Rugby Club, to be able to give something towards this charity to be able to help and to assist families in gaining respite care and the gift of time for their children, knowing that they are being looked after, makes us proud.

“We would like to thank Denise Nolan from the Jack & Jill foundation for providing us with T-shirts for the event”.

Speaking on behalf of Kelly’s Toyota, Brendan Kelly said: “We are delighted to be associated with this event again this year for Letterkenny Rugby Club and their charity, The Jack & Jill Foundation.

“The lads will leave our showroom in Mountcharles on Saturday 14th May at 9.15am pushing a new Toyota Yaris through Donegal Town’s Diamond, onto Ballybofey & Stranorlar & arriving to push it through Letterkenny Town and finally to the clubhouse at Dave Gallaher Park. If you see them, do give them your support, it’s all for a very worthwhile cause”.
