He was selected to represent CLG Dhún na nGall at the Association’s Easter Rising celebrations on Allianz League finals day on Sunday, April 24, with the main fixture being the Division 1 final between Dublin and Kerry.

“We would like to wish Joseph McGee, our Academy’s under 16 and youth goalkeeper, all the best on this coming Sunday,” read a statement from Gweedore Celtic FC.

“It will be massive day for Joseph, and we’re sure his family, friends and CLG Ghaoth Dobhair are extremely proud of him.”

It’ll be a busy week for McGee, who is well known for his acting skills and can sing too as Gweedore Celtic are holding their Academy Variety Show on April 29.
