Conrad Logan went from a ‘Sunday League keeper’ to a ‘hero’ on Twitter today

CONRAD LOGAN WILL not forget this debut for Hibernian in a hurry.

The Ramleton native was between the sticks for the Edinburgh club in their Scottish Cup semi-final against Dundee United this afternoon at Hampden Park.

The Twitter world was unsure what to make of the former Leicester City goalkeeper but once the action got underway, the consensus of Logan certainly improved. After a solid game, Logan saved two penalties in the shoot-out and set Hibs on their way to the Scottish Cup final where they will play either Celtic or Rangers.

Here’s how Twitter saw the day …

Hibs starting with Conrad Logan in goal. Looks a cuddly big fella.

Is it time to start the Conrad Logan for the Euros bandwagon? Two good saves and a rarity, an Irish keeper getting a game.
