DONEGAL WERE DEFEATED by Wicklow in their Relegation Play-Off in the Allianz Hurling League Division 2B clash at St Colman’s 3G facility in Newry this afternoon.

Wicklow 2-19 Donegal 1-9

Ardal McDermott’s side went down by 13 points so next week play the top side in Division 3A, Roscommon, with the winners to compete in Division 2B in 2017.

Chester Kelly and Christy Moorehouse scored the second half goals for Wicklow, who were 0-10 to 0-5 up at half-time.
