WHEN FINN HARPS and Derry City meet tomorrow night, chances are Ciaran Gallagher and Gerard Doherty will be in the opposite goals.
It’s one of the most eagerly-awaited kick-offs to the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division – certainly in the north-west – with the rivals aiming to start their respective seasons on the right foot.
Gallagher will wear the colours of Finn Harps and his opposite number Doherty will be in the Derry City No 1 jersey.
This week, the rival goalkeepers also came face-to-face at a photo-shoot at Brian McCormick Sports in Letterkenny, where they were sponsored a pair of Uhlsport boots each.
