Gary McDaid’s team opened their campaign with a victory over St Patrick’s Grammar School Downpatrick earlier this month and were in imperious form in their second outing in the competition.

The 43-point win means St Eunan’s are top of their group with their final group game against Our Lady’s and St Pat’s of Knock, Belfast, on Thursday, March 10.

A goal and four points in the first 10 minutes set the tone and by half-time the lead was extended out to 4-9 to 0-0 with the goals coming from Shane Monaghan, two from Jack Gallagher and one from Noel O’Donnell.
St Eunan’s emptied the bench in the second half and the replacements continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over with further goals coming from Callum Friel, Seimí Breslin, Sean McVeigh and Monaghan, who scored his second of the day.
The College had top performances from Jack Gallagher at centre-back, Seán Collum in his corner-back berth, O’Donnell in midfield, as well as Monaghan at full-forward and Callum Friel in the corner.
