St Aidan’s were the much more efficient and effective of the sides, posting 11 second half scores for a deserved win.

First half goals by Pauric Skelly and Patrick Faulkener had Moville 2-0 to 0-4 in front at half-time.

Moville had a dream start with a goal in the opening minute.

Excellent play by Aidan McLaughlin created the opening and Skelly hammered home.

Moville didn’t score again until the 25th minute when goal number two arrived.

Itwas worth the wait.

Pauric Gillen, Evan Craig and Gareth Foynes exchanged a series of hand passes.

The ball was worked to Faulkener, whose finish was expertly taken.

In between the goals, points from Shane Sexton, Niall Fitzpatrick and Jesse Holland had levelled the scores and Sexton’s score brought St Aidan’s to within two at the break.

It wasn’t until the 44th minute that St Aidan’s drew level and when Pauric O’Brien put them ahead soon after there was only one winner.
