Audio: Ardal McDermott says it’s an ‘honour’ to manage Donegal hurlers

DONEGAL GET THEIR Allianz NHL Division 2B campaign underway with a fixture against Mayo at MacHale Park in Castlebar on Sunday, throw-in 2pm.

Ardal McDermott from Burt took over the role of manager from Ray Durack last September and has made it a priority of moving Donegal up another level.

“We’ve a big challenge ahead,” McDermott said. “The Donegal job was something I’ve earmarked. It’s an honour to manage your county. I enjoying the whole thing of working with people. I enjoy managing and I find it interesting.”
