ST EUNAN’S COLLEGE, Letterkenny, overcame St Patrick’s Grammar School Downpatrick in their Corn Colmcille (U-13½) opener at the Mid-Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown this afternoon.

Gary McDaid’s side were 0-3 to 0-0 in the opening fixture in the competition but soon managed to steady themselves to go in 3-0 to 1-3 in front at half-time. ‘
A goal and four points in a 12-minute period in the second half helped the Letterkenny team get off on the right foot.
Seimí Breslin, Shane Monaghan, Callum Friel, Kelan Collier and Ben Gallagher all scored goals.
St Eunan’s are back in action after the mid-term break when they face St Paul’s Beesbrook on Thursday, February 25.
