RYAN MCHUGH HAS a busy schedule over the next couple of weeks, but the Kilcar man isn’t complaining.

This afternoon, McHugh will line out for Ulster University, Jordanstown in the independent.ie Sigerson Cup quarter-final at Jordanstown.

McHugh played a big part in Donegal’s opening two Allianz League wins against Down and Cork.

On Sunday morning, he jets off to Tenerife with the Donegal squad for a five-day training camp.

Should UUJ win today, McHugh will be in Sigerson Cup action on finals weekend, which are being held at UUJ this year.

McHugh’s father, Martin, is on the management team at UUJ.

“There’s a bit of juggling to do but I’m lucky enogh with Rory and dad as the two managers. They get on well so that helps me,” Ryan McHugh said.

“St Mary’s will be a tough game for us. I’m enjoying my time with Jordanstown. St Mary’s is a bit of a derby game for us.

“We’re not looking past this game. St Mary’s came down and beat Donegal in the McKenna Cup. Hopefully we’ll get over the line, but it won’t be easy.”

Patrick McBrearty is also on the UUJ squad and scored 1-6 in their win over Garda College in the last round.
