EAMON O’BOYLE HAS been installed as the new manager of Naomh Muire.

O’Boyle won three Donegal SFC titles while manager of St Eunan’s and returns to club management at The Banks.

O’Boyle takes over as manager from Gary Boyle, who has taken on the role of assistant manager this year.

In 2015, Naomh Muire preseved their Senior Championship status and the club recorded their first ever win in the SFC when they defeated Killybegs 0-14 to 2-5 and just missed out on a quarter-final berth.

O’Boyle won Dr Maguire with St Eunan’s in 2008, 2009 and 2012.

He was the sole manager for the first two of those triumphs and was on a joint ticket with Brendan Devenney and Michael McGeehin in 2012.

O’Boyle also managed St Eunan’s in 2013 and had one year, 2011, in charge of the Donegal senior ladies team.

A native of Ballina, O’Boyle moved to Letterkenny in 2001 and has also led St Eunan’s to League and Championship titles at Under-12, 14s, 16s and minor level.

He is the current manager of the mens and ladies teams at Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
