FORMER DONEGAL MANAGER Jim McGuinness works as a Performance Consultant with Celtic FC in Scotland – but the Glenties man played for another Celtic in the past.

McGuinness played a couple of seasons with Kilmacrennan Celtic in the Donegal League during the off season from lining out with Naomh Conaill and Donegal.

McGuinness was living in Letterkenny at the time and played from 1996 to 1998 with the Lurgy Park side.

The Glenties native played in both the Saturday and Sunday Leagues with Kilmacrennan and won the Downtown Cup with the Saturday League.
