GWEEDORE CELTIC’S MARC WALSH has been selected for the Republic of Ireland Under-15 squad and will travel to Turkey.
Loughanure native Walsh (pictured above right with friend Shane Boyle) played in two internationals in November against Poland, scoring in the second of those outings, which was a 3-1 win in Louth.
This time the boys in green will travel to Turkey where they will compete in a tournament consisting of hosts Turkey as well as Austria and Holland. Marc will join up with his teammates in Dublin at the end of January for a few days training before departing for Turkey.
