GLENSWILLY HELD THEIR underage presentation night recently in the clubhouse.
The huge turn-out was testament to the hard work being put in by a host of underage coaches across the boards at all age levels.
All the teams were brought on stage and photographed by Geraldine Diver to whom a special appreciation award for all her hard work was made on the night.
A number of awards were also made to the various players who represented the club at county level.
Some of the club’s best-known names including Michael Murphy, Neil Gallagher, Laura Gallagher and Paddy McFadden spoke some fine words of encouragement for the young players.
Perhaps some day some of these young players will be giving words of encouragement to other youngsters having lined out at county level and represented their club with such pride.
Club chairman finished off the evening by thanking all the coaches and the parents for sending their children to the club and giving them such huge support.
More than 300 young people represented the club with pride on and off the pitch this season.
