Knock-out draw for Oscar Traynor Cup features Inishowen and Donegal League

THE INISHOWEN AND Donegal League were involved in the draw for the knock-out stages of the Oscar Traynor Cup this evening.

As group winners, Diarmuid O’Brien’s Inishowen League side (pictured above) – the defending champions – were drawn directly into the quarter-finals of the competition away to the Galway League.

Meanwhile, the Donegal League (pictured below) will feature in the play-off round, playing at home to whoever finishes runners-up in Group A between the AUL, United Churches League and Wexford.

There is currently a protest to be heard relating to the Defence Forces v Wexford game in that group.

Should Donegal win against whoever they play, they will also be at home in the last eight against the North-Eastern Football League.

Play off:
Kerry League v Leinster Senior League
Donegal League v *AUL/UCL/Wexford (Runner Up)

*Protest to be heard relating to the Defence Forces/Wexford game in Group A

Play-off games to be played on or before the 22/23/24 January.

Quarter Final Draw
Donegal or AUL/UCL/Wexford (R/U) v NEFL
Limerick v Clare League
AUL/UCL/Wexford (Winner) v Kerry or LSL
GalwayLeague v Inishowen League
