FINN HARPS HAVE added to their striking options ahead of life back in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division next season.

The Ballybofey club this evening confirmed the signing of Ryan Curran from Derry City.

The 22-year-old, whose father Paul also played for Harps and Derry, scored seven times in 28 games for the Brandywell outfit.

“As soon as Ollie contacted me I felt this was a opportunity for me to take the next step in my career.” the Ryan Curran (pictured above courtesy of Derry City FC) told Finn Harps Dot Com. “I am delighted that Ollie and Finn Harps have put their faith in me and I feel this move will give me the chance to really make my mark in the League of Ireland.”

Ollie Horgan, the Finn Harps manager, has already secured the services of Ryan McConnell, Kevin McHugh, Tony McNamee, Ciaran Coll, Gareth Harkin, Raymond Foy, Ciaran Gallagher, Michael Funston and Thomas McMonagle for 2016.

“We are pleased that Ryan has decided to come to the club,” Horgan said of Curran. “Everyone knows Ryan is a player who has a lot of potential and if he works hard then there is no reason why can’t achieve very positive things at Finn Park.”
