MARTIN REGAN knows a thing or two about managing a team on county final day.
In October, Regan (pictured above) took his native Naomh Conaill to victory over St Eunan’s in the RTÉ Raidió na Galetachta SFC and this afternoon he was manning the touchline at Pairc nc Gael as St Columba’s Comprehensive School Glenties defeated Abbey Vocational School in the semi-final of the Donegal Senior A Schools Football Championship.
“Last year we got to the county final and it wasn’t played,” Regan said. “We’ve not won it in four or five years. It’s great to get back into it and hopefully now we can get the county championship back.”
