LORETO COMMUNITY SCHOOL, MILFORD, came from two down today to defeat Raphoe Royal & Prior in the quarter-finals of the FAI Schools Ulster Senior Boys Cup.

Raphoe Royal & Prior  2-4 Loreto Community School, Milford
In what was a very entertaining last eight tie played at the Raphoe school ground, Derry City’s Adrian Delap was the hero for the Milford side (pictured above) when he give the home side’s defence a merry dance all throughout the game.
Delap was unlucky in the second minute when he shot narrowly wide after his clubmate Shane McNamee put him through.
A few minutes later it was the turn of Finn Harps’ Liam Walsh who spurned a chance when one on one with Jason Doherty in the Raphoe goals.
The home side took the lead against the run of play when on 18 minutes when a deep corner by Ethan McCready was headed back across the goals by the Finn Harps play-off hero BJ Banda to Jamie McKinney who scored with ease.
Banda could have scored a second only for great goalkeeping by Shane Graham denied him but made amends on
33 minutes when from another McCready corner he was left unmarked to double the Royal & Prior lead.
Loreto got back in the game on the stroke of half time when Enda McCormick played a long ball over the top for Delap to outsprint the defence to score.

It was all one way traffic in the second half as Delap was instrumental in everything Loreto College did.
Adam Serrinha equalised on 64 minutes after Delap set him up. Doherty pulled off a wonder save from McNamee before he was eventually beaten by Delap again when he side footed to the net after a great run.
With just eight minutes remaining, Ryan Toye was taken down inside the area for Derry City’s Connor Gormley to hammer the penalty home.
