Watch: Bernard Hopkins says Jason Quigley is ‘future world champion’

Former undisputed middleweight king Bernard Hopkins has given Jason Quigley a ringing endorsement.

Hopkins, who made 20 defences of the IBF middleweight title and who was the undisputed middleweight champion from 2004-2011, says Quigley is certain to become a world champion.

Hopkins is now a partner in Golden Boy Promotions and was speaking at the weigh in for Quigley’s NABF middleweight title defence against Freddy Hernandez tomorrow night at Fantasy Springs.

“Remember I said that. Remember this day,” said Hopkins, reinforcing his point.

“Future world champion, I guarantee you. And I don’t give anybody a title.”
