St Eunan’s College reach Loch in Iuir final


St Eunan’s College sealed a place in the final of the Loch in Iuir competition.

A one point victory in a topsy-turvy clash in Dungiven sealed the final place.

The College trailed by four at the interval but recovered with a rejuvenated spirit and sense of purpose in the second half. 

Lorcan Harvey dominated the central areas and he was aided be great support from Donal and Sean Gallagher in particular.

A trio of superb saves was also made by Johnny Quinn who never let the side down when called upon.

Big scores came at crucial times for Michael Doherty, Mark Bonner (1-2), Mandy Kelly, a late goal from Leon Blake Boyce and a 45 from Josh Patton were enough to put Eunan’s into next weeks final.
