Donegal were well represented in the 9,853 attendance at Dr Hyde Park.

Donegal manager Declan Bonner called on the Tir Chonaill support to get behind his men and they answered his call.

Huge traffic tailbacks in Boyle, Tulsk and on the approach roads to Roscommon outlined the big Donegal crowd that made the pilgrimage.

And they saw a stunning display by Michael Murphy, who scored nine points as Donegal won 0-20 to 0-13.
