Jonny Carlin makes full League debut as Cabinteely win away

Donegal man Jonny Carlin made his full League of Ireland debut tonight as Cabinteely scored a big away win over Drogheda United.

Carlin, a native of Killygordon, started for Cabinteely in their 4-1 First Division win at United Park – and played the full 90 minutes.

Carlin had previously started an EA Sports Cup win over Drogheda, with tonight marking his first League start.

Carlin was a closed-season signing from Donegal League double winners Kildrum Tigers.

Former Finn Harps man Oisin McMenamin came on as a late sub for Cabo tonight.

Rob Manley netted a hat-trick, while Luke Gallagher hit an own goal.
