FINN HARPS’ memorable campaign came to an end on Friday night as they defeated Limerick FC to seal promotion back into the Premier Division.

It has been quite the season for Ollie Horgan’s team and here is a look at some of the key numbers from the promotion-winning year:

27 – Players used by Finn Harps during the 2015 season

35 – Games played by Ciaran Gallagher, who started every game this season

18 – Clean sheets kept by Harps goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher

6 – Players who were named as substitutes during the season, but didn’t feature in games, Daragh Black, Jordan Toland, James Gallagher, Oisin McMenamin, Oisin Hassett and Ata Ozbay

4 – Players who made one appearance in 2015. Ger O’Callaghan played the first hour of the EA Sports Cup game against Galway United; Adam Clarke played the final 15 minutes of the same game; Conor Keddy featured in the final six minutes of the 1-1 draw with Athlone last month; and Lee McCarron played the last ten minutes of the 4-1 win over Wexford Youths

3,140 – Minutes played by the Harps goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher this season, more than any other player

50 – Harps scored 50 goals in all competitions in the 2015 season

14 – Of those 50 goals, 14 of them were scored in the last 15 minutes of games, a pointer to how Harps have worked on finishing strongly

417 – Kevin McHugh (pictured above, courtesy of Gary Foy, newsandsportsfiles) has now played 417 games for Finn Harps, still some way off the record 485 of Jonathan Minnock

185 – Number of goals scored by Kevin McHugh in his Finn Harps career

5 – One of the most interesting statistics of the season is the drop in red cards from 2015. This season, Harps had five red cards, as opposed to eleven in 2014

1 – Harps only lost once at Finn Park all season, the 3-1 defeat by Wexford in June. They did get beaten by Longford in a penalty shoot-out in the FAI Cup, but the game was scoreless after 120 minutes.

8 – Including the scoreline at 90 minutes against Limerick last Friday night, Harps won eight games 1-0

15 – A total of 15 players got on the scoresheet for Harps this season

69 – Ollie Horgan has been the Finn Harps manager for 69 games now, with 29 wins, 21 draws and 19 losses on the record

9 – Kevin McHugh was Harps’ top goalscorer this season, the Killea man netting nine goals

4 – The four goals scored against Wexford Youths in the final First Division game of the campaign was the most scored by Harps in a game

10 – Ten players who have featured on match cards for the first team during the season were no longer at the club by the time promotion was secured on Friday night: Ruairi Keating, Regan Donelon, Brian McGroary, Ger O’Callaghan, Garbhan Friel, Adam Clarke, Jordan Toland, Oisin McMenamin, Rob Waters, Ata Ozbay

0 – Ollie Horgan didn’t play the same eleven player in consecutive games over the course of the season

10,382 – The Finn Harps team bus will have clocked up a staggering 10,382 kilometres in traveling from Navenny Street in Ballybofey to the various venues at which Ollie Horgan’s men played in 2015
