Buncrana boxer pays tribute to tragic Danielle after St Patrick’s Day win in Perth

John Hutchinson scored another win on St Patrick’s Day in Perth – and the Buncrana Banger paid tribute to tragic Danielle McLaughlin.

The Phuket-based Hutchinson defeated Pramool Boonpok at the WA Italian Club in Perth on Friday.

Hutchinson, who scored a KO win over Sunun Sangpet in Bangkok in January is now 9-2-2 as a professional and the MTK Marbella fighter made light of Boonpok landed a six-round triumph on Friday in his latest bout.

Hutchinson had a big crowd behind him as he scored the win – and he took the time to honour the memory of Danielle McLaughlin, the Buncrana native who was found murdered in Goa, India last week.

Writing on Facebook, Hutchinson said: “We’re a small tight packed town Buncrana I’m humble and and we’re all praying and not forgetting we lost friend a poor girl from Buncrana Danielle this week may she RIP.”
