Away day for Glengad United as FAI Junior Cup draw is made

Glengad United face an away day for their game in the last 16 of the FAI Junior Cup.

Shane Byrne’s side have been drawn away to Crettard United in County Laois in their round of 16 tie.

Glengad, quarter-finalists two years ago, are once again hoping to make it to the latter rounds.

A 4-0 win over Birr Town on Sunday at The Crua means the Inishowen League champions are the only Donegal or Inishowen League side left standing.

On Sunday, Connor Barrow (2), John Gerard McLaughlin and James McKinney bagged the goals.

The last 16 games take place on the weekend of February 3.
